Contact Us
One mailbox runs this whole site: info@bostonfoodtours.org. Messages land with the person who wrote the pages, not with a support queue or an autoresponder. Spotted a seafood walk priced differently than we show, or a North End itinerary that seems off? Say so. Replies are written by hand and tend to arrive within a day or two.
Messages we can use:
- A price that no longer holds. Every card here shows the from-price the live listing carried at the time, and operators adjust for season, group size or a short promotion. A donut tour at $70 one week may sit higher the next. If a card and the booking page disagree, trust the page, then tell us so the card gets corrected.
- An itinerary that has changed. A Chinatown stop switched to another dumpling house, a cannoli pairing dropped from a dessert walk, a Freedom Trail meeting point shifted to a different corner: these matter, because readers plan an entire afternoon around a single detail and need the current version, not the old one.
- Anything factually wrong. What a ticket actually feeds you, how the cancellation window really works, which seafood stops sit inside a walking tour versus a sit-down meal, and which day out starts in Salem rather than Boston at all. Corrections like these get made the same week.
- A tour we have overlooked. Any bookable Boston food tour with a published price and a listing that survives a careful read belongs on our radar. Paste the link into an email. It costs nothing to send, and the reply is a simple yes or no, not a negotiation.
- Anything the FAQ and the guides leave open.

Our Replies
Errors of fact jump the queue. A brewery tour filed under the wrong category, or a cancellation term stated incorrectly, gets fixed within a day or two of the email arriving. Bigger questions, such as whether a 3-hour North End walk suits someone who prefers a slower pace, may take longer and occasionally grow into a full guide rather than a short answer. What you will never get is a mailing list signup, a sales pitch, or your address passed along.
The Limits
This site cannot book a seat, change a date or chase a refund. The 14 tours compared here belong to their operators, from Intrepid Urban Adventures to Salem Food Tours, and payment always happens on the operator's own booking page. We compare and point the way. No money for a tour ever moves through us.
Bookings here go straight to the tour operator, so the confirmation email is where the practical details live: meeting point, start time, reference number, and the operator's own contact line. Once you have that message, questions about running late, allergies, or finding your guide belong with the operator, not with this site. We compare listings; they run the walk.
Two details on the confirmation deserve a close read. The first is the meeting arrangement: most listings name a square, a church door or a shopfront in the North End, Chinatown or Harvard Square, but some send the exact address only after booking, and one tour starts in Salem, about 16 miles north, reachable by commuter rail to North Station in roughly half an hour. The second is the cancellation window, which varies by operator: most of the tours here carry free cancellation, two listings do not state it. On both counts the live booking page is the authority, and it outranks anything written here.
Not sure which tour suits you yet? The homepage sets the five categories side by side, and the guides under /guides/ cover everything from North End pastry stops to a Salem day trip.
